Saskia Jae Singer and Jek McAllister have a collaborative practice and after running various workshops and events, they used the arts lab for a two day artist residency.

 

‘Dain Hings at the lab',  was an interactive exhibition born from a collection of work produced by the artists and people who attended their previous drawing workshops, and recycling the space with the 'rubbish' of the shops  former use. 

 

The viewers were encouraged to use the exhibition as their own studio space, using the materials and what they found on site to make new audio/visual work using the principle of 'just dain hings' and playing.
